A wonderful visual and kinesthetic tool to help new golfers understand the ideal of clipping/brushing grass to help the club get the ball into the air, a very common challenge for new golfers. I have used the balls for an indoor presentation with the club...effective.
All in all, a terrific teaching aid for teachers and students alike.

I truly believe there is a market place for the D. Brush golf club & accessories; it gives beginners a fantastic feel for impact, this enables golfers to maintain their posture in order to return the club back to the same position at impact, as we know this is a very important criteria in becoming a good player.
We have been using it at the Instruction Centre and it has been helping the concept of trimming the grass through impact.

WHY THE BRUSH?

  • Swinging thru the ball
Brushing through the ball is much the same concept, except the idea is simple to understand and easier to incorporate into practice.
    ¡@
  • Clipping Grass
Brushing through the ball feels like clipping grass. It is crucial for new golfers to understand the concept of trimming the grass through impact.
    ¡@
  • Kinesthetic Feedback ¡V Alignment
In the process of brushing thru the ball, the sound and feel of the brush suggests the moment of truth (ball impact). It allows the player to identify a specific body alignment¡K. like square shoulder, hip slightly open towards target, correct grip to ensure clubface is square etc. That¡¦s important for muscle memory.
    ¡@
  • Kinesthetic Feedback ¡V Timing Control
After impact, you need to focus on making your forearms to cross creating an ¡§X¡¨ configuration. This will ensure that your hands have released through the ball correctly. With the clear indicating point of impact from the brush, now you¡¦ll know when to release it. It all comes down to one thing; muscle memory.
    ¡@
  • Iron Shot - Descending Motion
The design of the brush gives you a much greater forgiveness when taking a descending blow at the ball, brushing thru greatly reduce the chance of hitting hard on the ground, thus significantly avoids impact injuries to the wrists and elbows.

  • Practicing on a carpet
What makes the brush club so interesting is you could effectively practice your golf swing on just a regular carpet. How convenient!

Special thanks to all the PGA members and teaching professionals who had shared their thoughts and comments during PGA Merchandise Show 2008.
